My name is Andrew Lukes and I’ve been hillwalking, orienteering, kayaking and navigating for over 40 years all over the world, from the wild reaches of the Alaskan coastline, to the frozen lands of the far north inside the Arctic Circle of Norway to the bleak arid deserts in the Middle East.
I’m a Freelance Outdoors Instructor, a qualified Mountain Leader, a Duke of Edinburgh Leader, Gold Expedition Award Level Assessor and Ten Tors Team Manager. I'm a member of the Mountain Training Association and I also hold the National Navigation Award Scheme Gold and Tutor Trainer Awards.
