Overview:
If you do have some experience of hill walking but aren’t confident about planning walks, navigating and understanding the equipment required, then a Hill Walking Skills & Navigation Course is an ideal way to learn.
Timings are generally a 09:00AM daily meeting and briefing. Then a circular walk of around 6-15km (depending on group ability and aims ) with a finish at 4.00PM.
Who is the Course For:
A Hill Walking Skills & Navigation Course is your key to getting started in countryside and moorland walking. No previous hill walking experience is required because the content of the course is aimed at beginners.

Campcraft - no overnight though.
1st Aid and Emergency Procedures.
Mapreading and Nav.

The ratio for these courses is 1:6.
